I think of my grandmother's house in center of Thailand, now I'm so far away about 7,000 miles from her house. My grandmother's house is a Thai tradition style house near a river. That idea pop up in my mind so it made me have some inspirations to painted about Thai people life, Thai culture and Thai costume. May be I was home sick by accident but after I finished this painting I feel so good. I look at it again and again seem like I visit my grandmother's house again.

My husband love this dramatic tree. Almost every evening in early spring we liked to sit in front porch to look at the tree. One day, we saw a couple birds on top of the tree, may be they flew from some where far away and need to rest. Sometime people who have hard time or hard life need some a place to rest or a person to understand. We proud the tall tree stands for couple birds to rest for a while so I had some inspirations to painted the tree and love birds on top the tree. "I painted from what i saw" .

One day in July 2005, I stayed at my mother-in-law's house and I had not much thing to do. I walked around her backyard to get fresh air and picked many pears. It reminded me when I was a kid. I went to my uncle friut farm to pick mangoes and other Thai fruits so I created series " Picking Fruits"
