Thai Dance with Thai long Drum (Rum Glong Yao = รำกลองยาว)
Glong yao (Thai: กลองยาว, glong yao) is a thai folk instrument of center of Thailand a long drum used in Thailand.
It is generally slung over the shoulder and played with the  both hands.
It has a wooden body and a drumhead made from water buffalo skin, and is usually decorated with a colorful fabric skirt around it.
It is played in many festival parades,sport;s day parade, wedding parade and ordination parade in Thailand

COUNTRY LIVING

I'm a city girl could not imagine a day when I would enjoy living in the country. I felt compelled to share this story with my blog readers because we love this good piece a land, peaceful and relax. However we have to deal with people or anythings at work but afterwork we comes home we feel relax and peaceful at our place. Some of our friends came visit us , in first 10 minutes they told us...they feel relax,peaceful and comfortable about our place. My husband and I love going out on the front porch, sitting in the swing and listening to nature, watch sunset from the back porch or set 2 chairs on our land close to the pond then have barbeque somtimes,watch lighting bugs and listen cricket sound.
We have couple bunnies come to say morning sunshine and eat my flowers every morning made me feel funny and angry the same time ,  a crane flies above our pond bring good luck to us, hawk flies above our place look for baby bunny evey afternoon, an owl that serender us almost every evening and coyotes that howl between midnight and after 2 a.m. I was scare at first, but I relized they were more afriad of us than we were of them.

This painting is a part of my life which i do some for living in chinese restaurant.

On Vacation

I was on vacation for painting about 4.5 months. Actaully we planed to go to Dallas, Texas to visit my cousins and spend time together to go to many places for a week but my husband found out the roof above my studio damaged from hail storm couple days ago. It need to fix soon as we could so we spent time in Dallas only 2 days, the less we had staycation at home because  the roof above my studio need to fixed before storm coming again. Even we had short time to spend time together but it was good value time for us after that we was busy fixed the roof and our life schedue changed. I was not happy about somethings so It made me did not have inspriation for painting for a while. I did not pick my paintbrush to paint at all but I will get back to paint again soon.
